Skills tests will be canceled if there is no responsible party available to supervise small children. Please do not leave your children unattended while you take a skills test.
Schedule a skills test for Class A or B, commercial Class C or Endorsements. See Motorcycle Skills Test for a preview of the motorcycle course and test requirements. Most beginning drivers under 18 must present a driver's education Certificate of Completion and a Beginning Driver Experience Log. You do not have to use your own vehicle, but you must have a vehicle in the same license class as you are applying for. Vehicles must be properly registered and insured. The examiner will perform a safety inspection on your vehicle and check your registration and insurance. Please have your instruction permit number or social security number ready when you call or schedule online. Rural offices do not offer stand-by tests.
Larger offices also offer tests on a stand-by basis. Skills tests are administered by appointment.
You must pass the knowledge test and obtain an instruction permit for a given class of license or endorsement before you schedule your skills test.
